20. KEXP

I never used to listen to the radio, then I found out about this station. I highly recommend giving John in the Morning a listen. Streaming can be found on this (incredible) site or through the Alt/Modern Rock category in iTunes.

19. Russian Prison Tattoos

You heard me.

18. Clone High

Did anyone else out there see this show during its all-too-short run? I would say it was the funniest series to air on TV since The Simpsons. It was beautifully art-directed too.

17. Schfifty-Five

After you watch this you’ll have it imbedded in your brain. Forever. But it’s worth it.

16. Fleep

A comic strip about a young man who goes into a phone booth, passes out, and wakes up to find the phone booth entirely encased in concrete. He has no idea how this happened, if the booth has been moved from its original location, or how long he’s been unconscious. The strip focuses on his attempts to answer these questions and to find a way out before he runs out of oxygen.

15. Find Your Spot

According to the quiz my #1 spot is Albuquerque, New Mexico. For real.

14. Guess the Dictator/TV Character

Pretend to be a dictator or TV character, answer a series of “yes” or “no” questions, and this site will be able to guess who you are. I haven’t been able to fool it yet.

13. H.O.P.E.

Horrified Observers of Pedestrian Entertainment. Ok, these people have devoted an unnecessary amount of time and energy to hating just about everything in pop culture. But I must say, I pretty much agree with them.

12. NYPL Digital Image Gallery

The New York Public Library has put its entire collection of art, photography, and design online. This must have been a massive undertaking. Visit this link in moderation, or you’ll overdose on cool imagery.

11. The Onion

I’m sure you already know about The Onion. Just a reminder to go there, because, damn, is it funny.
